Read the owner's manual and see when the transmission service interval is (it's probably around 75K miles). When it reaches that service interval take it in for recommended servicing. If the service interval is 50K miles, and you went over, take it in now. Transmissions usually need a fluid and filter change, and the dealer or most shops will run diagnostics on it to check everything. It's only a big deal if you've gone WAY over the service mileage, and with yours only at 56K, that's not very likely.
