Audi A5 Diff Oil Additiv recommendations

Asked by Audiquattro1 Mar 03, 2020 at 01:43 PM about the 2008 Audi A5 quattro Coupe AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, anyone have a best  oil additiv I could use for
my differential. I bought 75w90 castrol syntex oil
for my differentials ( front, middle and back) but i
hear that i have to use oil additive for the middle
one to reduce noise and vibration. Anyone have
any good additives they could recommend me?
Thank you

Sturaco, and I believe 38ml only added and only use in mid diff, to rid noise of Quattro clunk at very low speeds on full lock etc. Only recommended by Audi if fitting new components otherwise 75w/90 to be used. Have heard it being used in all three diffs and all good, not to be used in sports rear diff
