09 Cardillac SRX Won't Move Once The Engine Warm Up

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just got the car from Auction. It usually starts after some hesitations; I always need to crank it several times before it starts. But once it start, you can move it without problem until after it's been up for about 5 minutes, then it will not move an inch again. The gear selector shifts without problem (just like it does when it works) and it indicates on the dashboard that it changes from P to R to N and D BUT will not move no matter how much I press the gas pedal.
Please what could be wrong?
I scanned the OBD code and get the following codes which I think have nothing to do with transmission:
P0054: HO2S Heater Resistance  Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0053: HO2S Heater Resistance  Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0036: HO2S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0030: HO2S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0443: Evap Emission Control Valve Circuit Malfunction
P0102: Mass Air-Flow Circuit Low Input

Any help please!

I have a 99 Escalade and had a similar problem and changed out the relays that have something to do with starting or running. Next time this happens try reseating the relays by pulling up and reseat a couple of times, if it starts right away replace the relays. Not sure where your relays are located but usually covered by a plastic box with removable cover. ACDelco 13503102 GM Original Equipment Gray Multi-Purpose Relay (Amazon $7.79) Also if you plan on doing some of the maintenance yourself check out http://www.alldatadiy.com/

Thanks for your response strangemen. Please not that the car starts and drives but will stop driving after about 5 minutes.

Have you found the issue? My friend has a 2008 srx that is doing the exact same thing. Moves when cold for a couple minutes then boom, won't move anywhere.

OK, some advice... I have a 2004 SRX with the same problem. I pulled the trans and replaced all friction plates, accumulators, shift solenoids (a, b, and c), torque converter solenoid, and pressure solenoid. I also replaced the torque converter, (rebuilt transmission almost completely). Put it back in, same problem, after 5 or 10 mins and it warms up, it kicks out of gear. No reverse, no neutral, no nothing. I pulled it again, went back through it with my son, put it back in the car, same problem... I pulled the transfer case thinking the problem was there, NOPE... Not today. I suspect one of the forward clutch pack pistons seals has a crack or hole and slowly bleeds down when the pressure is on. Some good advice (if you are rebuilding your own trans), DON'T cut corners. use all the parts (specially the seals) when doing a rebuild.

AND NO CODES SHOWS UP? MY 2012 SRX FRONT WD DRAIN A BATTERY, I REPLACED THE BATTERY AND THR CAR CRANKS PRETTY GOOD, BUT IT WON'T FIRE-UP. BEFORE THIS HAPPEN, I HAD CHANGED THE TWO FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS, ROTORS, AND BRAKE PADS ON THE CAR. I DID NOT TOOK THE CAR FOR A TEST DRIVE AFTER FINISHING THE WHEEL BEARING INSTALL, AND THE NEXT MORNING THE CAR FAILED TO IGNITE. THE SCANNER SEND ME A P1682. AND IGNITION 1SWITCH, CIRCUIT 2. I JUST ORDER A PCM.

My 2004srx starts But want move in drive or reverse but when I put it on stands the transmission shift good when it on the drive way it want move and I have to shut it off to put it in park
