2009 ford escape dome light switch is stuck on "off" position

three way dome light switch is not working lights stay off when opening the door

There are 3 positions on the switch. It should be in the center, unless you switch it 'off' or 'on' then it will stay lit. Go to this link see Page 50 - http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/09204og1e.pdf

Whoops, I need to pay attention. You said the switch is stuck then it needs to be replaced, not expensive or difficult
