I have a 2009 chevy impala and the cooling fan will not turn off after the car is off! What do i do? Asap

The fan is designed to stay on when the car is turned off to help cool the engine down. It can stay on a few mins...

I have a 2010 Impala, the fans turn off when you turn the car off. There is a fan relay in the fuse box under hood.

In the mean time unplug & plug it in if you have to go somewhere, that way the battery wont run down, parked, and the motor will not overheat, driving.

Way to long, like Rowefast says check the relay...That is strange the fans shut off and dont run a few mins, I learn something new everyday ...

Unplug it were im new so i dont really know where everything is at. What do i do with the fan relay?
