Tire Pressure Sensor Fault

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Last year, we took our car to get new front tires added on. Our local tire shop broke our tire sensor, and couldn't afford to replace it. Is there anyway that I can bypass the "Tire Pressure Sensor Fault" alarm off my dash?

A tire shop that can't afford to make a mistake right? Amazing. To answer your question: there is no way to defeat that Safety Device without removing the instrument panel from the car and removing the bulb. I NEVER recommend defeating a safety device. No responsible technician would - but then, I've never heard of a shop that can't afford to replace something they broke. Regardless of price.
I agree. And if the shop brokw it make them pay for it.
The shop should be fully liable for replacing the sensor & should be forced to since they broke it!
I learned to live with the default light. It doesn't go on too often with me being mostly a city driver and not long distance. My next new vehicle sure won't be a Ford!
Stupid! You blame Ford for something someone else broke? the TPMS system was added BY LAW in 2008. Buy something old if you want to get away from TPMS otherwise - grow a pair and make the shop that broke it replace it!
