Why does my oil pressure keep dropping?

I just changed my oil pressure sending unit and it
still continues to lose oil pressure. It will go up to
20-30 then slowly go back down to 0.

On many of those there is a screen just under the oil pressure sender that gets clogged with sludge. Replacing this screen usually fixes the issue. Do a "Google" search for "Silverado oil sender screen".
