how can i open trunk lid key, remote, or button doesn't work

can't open my trunk lid by any means, key, remote, button

There should be some safety release somewhere like under the back seat or by taking the seat and back out to gain access to the trunk sometimes there in there.

Bummer..... sounds like latching mechanism is broken. Not much else to do but pull the seat back and burrow through to the trunk latch and release it, then replace or repair. A pain. Good luck
