If it is leaking anti freeze when it is closed or not letting you bleed anti freeze from system it is bad but most likely you still have air in the system or you may have a bad head gasket.

If you got a 2,4 liter or 2,7 engine it´s most likely your head gasket, (gasket fault usually appears around 80000 miles) check your oil. If you got white/yellow stuff on your oil dipstick that would be a indicator on leaky head gasket. If there is a radiator cap on your model change that ( 15 dollar fix) release spring to the overflow tank might be faulty.. Try that first. step 2 get the head pressure testet and take it from there. If the head gasket is faulty, then you have to change your water pump/ timing belt while your at it. this is a estimated 12-15 hour fix in a car shop. be prepared for a chock when you get the price of the fix. Get a couple of shops to give you an offer. I replaced mine my self, took me 25 hours and about 900-1000 dollars in parts.

No, that would not be the case, Are you constantly filling fluids on the radiator system, is your smoke from engine more white than usual? what kind of engine 2,4 l or 2,7 ext does your car have ? If the car is burning water with fuel the sensor on your cad might be giving you the check engine light. Bit more info from you might be useful :)

Have you heard strange noises (squeking) when you start your engine up in the morning ? or when engine is cold.

I have a 2.7 engine and the coolant bubbles when I start the car then the car begins to run hot.

about 142000-146000 miles. also will BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealer work if it is the gasket?

99% sure, head gasket fault or crack in head, sorry to say. Take it to the shop, have it pressure tested (the head). First it sounded like it was your waterpump (would be if the car has gone that millage without replacement), leave that to the 1 % but unlikely. There is no easy fix to this with sealant´s. http://www.ebay.com/itm/01-09-Chrysler-2-7-V6-DOHC-MLS-Head- Gasket-Set-w-Bolts-Kit-167-EER-engine-parts-/160723706395? hash=item256be1221b&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/98-09-Chrysler-Dodge-2-7L-167-V6-Engine- Timing-Chain-Kit-w-o-Gears-Water-Pump-/151749843132? fits=Year%3A2009%7CMake%3AChrysler&hash=item2354fed8bc&vx p=mtr these are the parts you need, then find a handy man :) Hope this is useful , greetings from Reykjavik, Iceland.

I took it to a shop n they said it was the thermostat thats why I changed it. But i guess its not but anyway thanks for information, i either take it to my regular mechanic or trade it in.

Chryslers look nice, but the 2,7 L and 2,4 liters are known for these problems. And faulty transmissions (Watch ot for Avenger and Dodge too, they have the same engine and transmission) if you are trading your car in.
