Avenger won't start

I have a 09 dodge avenger the car will not start it will
only start with starting fluid then dies right after the
rpms drops and it dies and suggestions on what to
check

sounds like a fuel problem , do you hear the fuel pump prime the system ( whhrrrrr ) when you turn the key to run ? Make sure fuel pump has power & ground before you replace it . If you're lucky there's an access panel .
