Is an engine replacement worth it?
I have a 2009 Toyota Rav4. The pistons
have likely gone out in it. Is that a full
engine repair? If Yes, anyone k iw how
much that costs and is it worth it?
On a 15 year old vehicle, I'd say it's not worth it. However, if you get a good used engine and can do the job yourself, it might be worth it if the rest of the vehicle is in good condition and doesn't have a whole bunch of miles on it. Try carpart.com to get an idea of what a used engine will cost. Jim
