Humming noise under hood/engine area when i accelerate

Asked by GuruQMJ3 Apr 28, 2017 at 06:34 PM about the 2009 Honda Accord EX V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi my 2009 Honda Accord with about 77K miles just started making a
humming noise and it appears to be coming from under the hood.  I only
hear this noise when i press on the gas and after ten or 20 seconds driving
the noise slowly creeps up then a steady humming.  Once i press on the
gas or stop the noise goes away, it also does not make the noise in park.
Any ideas on what it may be?

I would have the front wheel bearing checked out. This sounds like a bad wheel bearing.
