loud humming noise from engine while in drive

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Last week my 2010 Honda Accord EX-L started to have this loud humming noise coming
from my engine.  Its sounds like I have loud exhaust but its from the engine not the
muffler.  Any ideas on what it is?  We have a 100,000 powertrain warranty and another
warranty as well.  Trying to figure out what the deal could be.  There is no noise if its in
park or reverse, only drive and as you accelerate it gets louder.

Took it to the dealership and it was a wheel baring. They repaired it under my extended warranty.

I took it to dealership as this happened with my car, honda accord 2014. The left wheel bearing was completely worn out. The total cost to replace was $500 + tax.

I took my 2014 Honda Accord to the dealership and indicated the humming noise and they said the transmission needed to be replaced for $4,100. I told them you can pull my car around front. This is the last time I go there after reading these posts.
