Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2009 Mini and this morning the yellow half filled check engine light came on, the car has reduced power ( Gets up to 15mph with the gas pedal to the floor)  It was just fine yesterday but today it's -12 degrees outside with windchill.  Any ideas?  I'll limp it up to an autoparts store to read the code, just wondering what it might be.

Update: Got home started her up and the check engine light is off. The car is accelerating like normal. Do Mini's not do so well in negative temperatures?
