Can my timing chain be bad if my 2009 dodge ram sometimes pings or sounds like my motor has a rattle in it when I take off. Smoke comes out of tail pe when it does this. Doesn't do it all the time. 7 Answers

Changed knock sensor. That wasn't the problem. Went 120 miles yesterday only done it one time. Made the rattle sound and bluish smoke came out of tail pipe. Where is the map and o2 sensor locatetd

i have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 sport with a 5.9 gas motor. im trying to figure out what trans i have in the truck. the tag under the hood says bd48. when i look that up it shows for a diesel. so im not sure what trans i have. i cant find any tags on the trans at all but on the bell housing does have 064-2 if that helps any 3 Answers
