First replace the battery. Then two possible causes, First check the cooling fan switch on the left (drivers side) of the radiator it has an electrical connector attached to it this can fail keeping the fan ON..and next there is a cooling fan module black with white letter on it near radiator, two electrical harness connectors attached to it..TAP on it and check if the fan shuts OFF.. IF, it does you have located the issue.
I appreciate your assistance. I replaced the battery however its still running. I am unable to locate the switch, module or even the fuse. :(
I checked the paperwork from the dealership who replaced the intake manifold and it states the fans were tested and found to have an internal open. Do i need to replace the whole assembly? Any other pieces I will need to replace as well?

That is Strange because an OPEN in electrical terms means NO current is able to flow because the circuit has an "internal open" ...meaning the fans will Not rotate/run?
Then I'm at a loss. I don't know what to do and I'm afraid to drive my car like this and possibly cause more damage. I have tried using Google to locate the pieces you mentioned and I'm having absolutely no luck. I'm frustrated that it's defeating me.
Everything seems to a $1,000 to fix at the dealership and I just don't have that. :(

Whats the engine code from the check the owners manual or the ID label in the spare tire area? there are two different systems. One uses a couple of relays...resistors to control the speed and the other uses a solid state controller in the fan unit. Also, how many pins are in the fan connector. The AC controller also can trigger the fans to run. Are they at top speed when running?
