Car struggling at acceleration

My daughters 2010 Toyota Corolla was driving fine
but suddenly won’t accelerate past 25. I checked
all fluids and changed out all spark plugs. It starts
fine and goes until you try to get any real speed. It
will go forward and reverse. The check engine light
was on but soon as the sparks plugs were
changed, that went off. Thank you for your help!!!!
