Why will the remote start on my key fob not work for my 2010 Cadillac SRX?

When I push the remote start button for approximately four seconds, the
lights flash and the car makes a click sound, but will not start.  Any idea why
this is happening?  No check engine lights are on and no low fuel light.  Very
frustrating, everything else on the key fob works fine.

Make sure your doors are locked before using your remote start. I guess to avoid theft. Good luck.
