My 2010 Chevrolet impala transmission problem.

Asked by Lancer_2245 Feb 20, 2017 at 10:51 PM about the 2010 Chevrolet Impala LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car is not taken off immediately. The engine is
revving but taking a min to go. So.etimes not
catching at all. If I put it in 1 or 2 gear, it takes off
fine. Is that a transmission oil flush needed?
Bought the car a few months back. I haven't had an
tune since I've had it.

Could be an electronic speed sensor... But, failing that, it's probably the transmission.... Unfortunately, there's a lot of Chevrolet transmission problems. Just look at the Chevrolet Equinox.... riddled with transmission troubles. Good luck.

Check the ATF level. Don't go with a flush, they cause problems.

my 09 impala slipping after warn up wont go into gear . But also giving a speed sensor code c0050-00 ,c0899-00 and control module power circuit, and po341-00 camshaft position sensor performance. could they cause the slipping im thinking the wheel speed sensor maybe.
