battery light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

while sitting in park with car running the battery light went on at the same time it
developed a humming sound. turned it off and restarted..all the indicator lights
flicked but the car started without problem...i drove home about 1.5 miles and
by the time i got home battery light was off and i did not hear the humming
sound
