i have a 04 honda civic i drive everyday went to work this morning no problem.. when i tried leaving work car starts up every time but after 2 seconds if that it dies out... also tried holding down pedal and rpm goes up but still dies out and can hear like putty noise from exhaust fuel pump sounds like its working and i can see from engine it shoots out.... what can this be? 1 Answer

My honda civic lx 97 cuts off a lights and stop signs but cranks back up with no problem its a automatic,also when I press the gas the rpm goes up to like 4 and stays for a second then it finally sounds like it caught the shift and goes back down but does it all over again when having to accelerate its like has no get up and go power it takes it a minute.what could be my problem? 1 Answer
