2010 tahoe lt tranny

My 2010 tahoe lt is not engaging  when put into
drive or reverse. When I hit the pedal, it engages a
split second after. Downshift are hard when driving
up hill at 60mph also. That has been for a few
weeks. Fluid was at cold line, I added about 4-5 oz
of LUCAS Tranny Stop Slip 24 hours ago. The
engaging issue just started this afternoon
