The trunk release on my door AND on the Fob is not working. I am not handy..I do not know what is wrong with it...I closed it one day and the next it would not open!!! Is this covered under warranty or VW Platinum??

Call the dealer to find out if it's covered under your programs. It's hard to tell since only you know what programs you have, what they include, how many miles on the car, when bought, etc.

Yea I just bought it in Sept 2012 Certified USED w 38k & purchased the VW Platinum (which after blogging might now be money well spent) but time will tell. I was checking the plan I do not see that its NOT covered. Now would you consider it a MECHANICAL part? Thanks Kel
