Car starts and shuts off after few seconds

2010 nissan rogue a couple off weeks ago shut off on me I
turn it over and it starts but doesnt stay on almost like it's
not getting any fuel or air....I press the gas pedal and it
decreases and shuts off....anybody had this problem before
if so what was done to fix it....
