2010 Chevy Siverado1500, won't shift out of park when the weather is cold

Only when the temps are below freezing the truck will not shift out of park.
Have my foot on the brake, once the truck or the temp. warms up works fine.

There is a shift interlock solenoid that probably is getting froze. This has to release before the shifter can move.
