low brake fluid was causing the problem
Check if brake lights come on when you hit the pedal, mine had same issue but I just replace brake light switch and problem solved. Good luck

Low brake fluid was the problem? I dont want people thinking they need or should top off their brake fluid. Brake fluid levels fluctuate in a normal with no leaks vehicle based upon brake pad thickness. When pads are new fluid should be at specified full levels. It WILL go down and noticeably so when brake pads are below 3mm. Why? Because your brake calipers have to press in further to apply the brakes when pads are low thereby lowering the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir. Totally normal. Do not top off. Go get a brake pad service. Otherwise if it's full when your pads are 1-3 and you replace the pads your brake fluid could have an overfill...I E pop the damn brake fluid cap make a mess and contaminate it :)

This was great information, thank you for sharing! Alot of people, myself included would think that there must be a leak somewhere. I appreciate you sharing your experience with us.
Hmm my breaks are new and had a flush done, why are mine on?
It might be several things that cause the Stabilitrak light : - Fuse or relay related to ABS - Brake pedal switch - A ground cable whcih is faulty - Also a spark plug can cause it... - The famous ABS wheel speed sensor ;) Anyway, the best it to use a scan tool to get the error code
Btw, i'm still trying to figure out what causes my Stabilitrack issue. It happens mostly when i'm starting in a slope and thus when I need to press the brake pedal harder. My brake pads (and discs) need to be replaced asap ;)
