Oil pressure gauge

Asked by 1unajuan Apr 10, 2017 at 07:54 PM about the 2010 GMC Yukon SLT1

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 yukon and my pressure gauge for
trans oil keeps dropping back and forth from 20 to
40 and my question is could that affect my battery
voltage since the gauge also dropped a little from
a 14 to like 11

If it affects the RPM of the engine it would, slowing the RPM down. Dropping to 11 volts is even under the battery voltage, so are you going by the gauge? or actually measuring it with a digital multi meter.
