2005 ford focus shuts off sometimes not all of the time when you come to a stop. The ilde air control velve ,and the egr valve are both working properly. Is there any chance that the dpfe is affecting this?

A dpfe valve that is congested with moisture can indeed cause an iregular idle but would not cause the engine to stall. Check Your intake for a vacuum leak, like a cracked/loose hose or a bad intake gasket. Also check Your Mass air flow sensor (by the air filter) and make sure the heat element is clean. If it is clean try to unplug the sensor and see if the engine starts idling better,if it does replace Your MAF sensor.
