Accessory power stays on and doors will not lock

Asked by Alexander Jul 11, 2018 at 06:03 PM about the 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2011 Sonata with push to start. When I
turn the car off the clock and radio stay on and the
key fob does not work and the doors cannot be
locked from the inside. I have to use the physical
key to lock the doors once it is closed. I have heard
this is either the floor shifter assembly or the range
sensor. I was seeing if there were anyways to fix
my current parts or if I just have to replace them
out and hope it fixes it or if it's caused by
something completely different.
