Why won’t my ac clutch come on with the button?

Asked by Ishortiz1 May 22, 2020 at 09:37 AM about the 2010 Kia Sportage EX V6 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My compressor went out recently, I ended up
replacing it, I then took it to the shop had it fill with
refrigerant, but  it still will not start. I had the level
checked at several different places they say it is
fine. I replaced the relay still nothing. If I jump the
relay it works fine but it won’t come on with the
button. Now when I hit the button the cooling fan
comes on but not the clutch. What can it be?

1 Answer

I have a similar issue. I have two good relays now so the relay isn’t the issue.
