Asked by Fluzzi6250 Apr 17, 2018 at 09:36 AM about the 2011 Chevrolet Traverse LTZ AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've replaced the battery and alternator on my 2011
traverse ltz awd and as the vehicle warms up the
voltage meter on the dash board shows that it
drops down to under 12 volts is there something
else I need to do to correct the problem

Does the battery actually discharge? Many newer GM vehicles use the ECU to determine when the battery is charged by the alternator. Have you measured the battery voltage?
