Break failure in 2011 535I

I have two separate questions that no one has been able to help me with  so
anything you can answer i appreciate!

i was driving on the freeway going about 65 when traffic in front of me stopped
when i went to put my foot on the brake my foot went all the way to the ground
and my car would not stop! i went to the side of the road and put on the
brakes and the car  abruptly stopped! Have you guys ever heard of anything
like this.... its in the shop for this problem!

Also for the past few months my car has been throwing me forward like I just
got re ended or like my transmission is about to go out and this happens
periodicly! Theres 71,000 miles on my car! I have brought to BMW severely
times and they have no idea! PLEASE HELP!!!

NEWS: BMW recalls 1.3 million cars worldwide. I don't have the time to read them all. I suggest you call BMW directly.

i called the number you gave me and gave her my vin and she said the recall wasn't for my exact vin # but that does not mean i wouldn't be experiencing the same problems as the other 5 series! I appreciate your help very much! and appreciate any advice from you in the future!
