Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1990 525i.  I got a grinding noise coming from what seems to be my rear wheel or rear end while driving.  I usually notice it when im coasting to a stop.  But it's noticable at other times also.  Any help?

Could be one of many things. I'd check wheel bearings first, then perhaps take a look at the rear brakes to make sure the calipers/wheel cylinders are not allowing brakes to drag. Those are the two most likely issues.
