It it a good deal to buy a 2004 BMW 545i with 142K miles for 4,400 ?

Deal is going to happen, but need to make sure this is a decent car even if milage is so high

Sounds like a good price to me. The mileage really isn't that high. If it were an '03, I would think it's average, it's just being an E60 that it seems high. If you can maintain the car yourself, then it's a great deal.

I'd respectfully suggest that if you don't know the answer, it's probably not the car for you. Like others have said, it may be a good deal if you know how to repair the car yourself, or will use the money you saved to pay someone else to do so. At $4k, it certainly needs something.
