keep bmw-u know the car is in mint condition-can u say te same 4 the audi?
The bigger question is, "why are you considering the trade in the first place?" Personally, Audi does a great job on their interiors, but the front wheel drive, even the bias of Quattro, leaves me yearning for a rear wheel drive vehicle, given your x-drive is just as relevant. You input would help further the discussion.

I've had an A6 Avant Quattro and BMW 545i, in my opinion the BMW is the best ride. Unless you've just been smitten by the Audi bug, I say enjoy your BMW.
quite simply, no although audi are very very good , they will always be a a step behind bmw.
Your particular bmw has a very good powerplant in it the n54 engine is very bullet proof as long as all the recalls have been done for injectors, hdp pump, dme programming. The one concern you will most likely have to deal with at 80,000 miles is the turbos system, since bmw is having an issue with the waste gates not sitting flush on the turbo housing causing low boost faults also known as 30ff. But bmw will most likely extend the warranty on these waste gates to 8 years and 80,000 miles. Other then some minor oil leaks down the road and one expensive battery upgrade (lead acid to AGM) The 5 series xdrive is one of the best smart all wheel drive cars on the market. I have driven the a4 and is a very large step down in my opion to the 5 series and rides much harsher and just doesn't perform as a sport sedan should. Hope this help and you stick with BMW.
I have decided to keep my 2008 535xi. I do take very good care of my cars and I do make sure that any and all recalls are done. All of the responses have been pro BMW, and the reasons all make sense. This web site has been extremely helpful, and I am grateful that there is a place to get expert advice!!! Thank you everyone for your responses!! KOD
