Car started jumping and wench light and check engine light came on. Restarted car got home fine but check engine light still on . Praying for a cheap fix..any deas?t has 68000 miles

Car started jumping lie it was going to die . Check engine and wrench light
came on . Pulled over cut engine off,Restarted other home wrench light gone
heck engine light still on.any Ideas? Praying for a cheap fix

Was the throttle sensor...still waiting on price
