wrench light came on car had no power?

wrench light came on car had no power shut the car off then restarted it and
the car ran fine light has not come on since. any ideas?

Try taking the car to Auto Zone or your local auto parts store and see if they'll hook up a scanner to the OBDII port and search for stored codes.

Your throttle body is failing. I'd bet money on it. You may be able to get some assistance from your local Ford dealership. Contact them first. DO NOT just buy a throttle body from anywhere or a random parts store. If you're due credit from Ford for the part, that will make it quite difficult.

I have the same problem, but it`s appears when I give it a full trottle and accelerate. The engine slow down and you think something has crash. But when when I stop and restart all is back to normal again.

My 2010 Ford Fusion did the shut down & restart. It was the Throttle body. So far my 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid did the same thing but I put it in the shop to verify.

i took my car in and was told throttle body (maybe) bought trottle body cleaner cleaned it myself no problem yet. but was that what made me stall?
