how can i get my fob to unlock my doors for a 2011 chevy malibu

my fob stopped working to lock and unlock my doors, how can i get that to work again

The battery can go dead, (in the remote fob) but that is not likely for a 2011. Do you have another fob and neither works? If that is washappenin' it could be the BCM (Body Control Module) click image

You know after looking at that I could have written it. In a format like that if somebody asked "How do I rebuild an engine"? I could write "Take it apart and replace bad parts and put back together" sorry,
