Key fob help, 2015 Chevy Malibu

I have a 2015 Chevy Malibu with the flip key fob, I do not have remote start.
Bought from used car lot and the fobs never worked to lock or unlock my car.
Well it’s past the 30 days now for them to help  me. I’ve tried some of the you
tube videos I found but nothing worked. Is there anything I can do without
paying $300 to get fixed?

Check to make sure the fobs are working. The batteries may be dead. If the batteries are good and the fobs are transmitting you need to program them to the vehicle. Your owner's manual may tell you how. If not, when you have the local locksmith check the fobs ask them how to program them. They should know how. If the fobs are not working replace them with ones from Ebay. Most will come with programming instructions. That's how I got working fobs for my 2000 Grand Prix and programmed them myself. They've been working fine for 8 years now. Hope that helps! Jim
