Non slip cargo mat not sticky anymore

I cleaned the rubber non skid mat in my outback and now it is not sticky anymore. I used a basic auto interior cleaner and I'm guessing it stripped away or clogged up whatever it is that makes it non slip. Is there any way to get the tackiness back?
