water in trunk well (probably from the sunroof)

When the sun roof leaks it gets wet inside the car. The trunk leaking its from either the trunk seal or the rear window.

Your assuming the water is from the sunroof drains ,,, best thing to do is make sure it's broke before you fix it. Get a clean white towel or paper towels and put it in the trunk then some dish detergent and put it around the sunroof seal (please don't do this if the sunroof is leaking into the car ... ) then get a cup of water and gently empty it on the roof (if you don't see the water draining and can see where the drain is // use the palm of your hand to make a little plunger motion to dislodge any debris ( why we need the dish detergent) next check the towels in the trunk for moisture

also check your taillight gaskets

Silicone around the license plate lights,it stopped .

my 2001 cadillac deville dts was leaking in trunk because the drain tubes had come loose from the tube that lets the water drain out from under the car...I hooked them back up on both sides and solved the problem, but then they started leaking in the pasenter side in the floor...It seems we can't win for loosing...
