Front end wandering.

Asked by edboyles Jul 15, 2016 at 12:30 PM about the 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my steering dampener replaced and an alignment.  The truck still wanders
back and forth at all mid to high speeds.  I had the alignment checked again at
Ford and it is all good, but still wanders.

I had dampener replaced before the tires. Just got brand new tires. Ford garage says everything on the front end is tight. They don't know why.

I would get a second opinion at an alignment / suspension shop.

Was you ever able to get it figured out I have the same problem on my 09 f250 I replaced everything on the front end and took it to two different shops to have it aligned and front end checked and I still have to problem thinking about putting a red head steering box on the truck to see if that fixes it
