What is the procedure to drain the auto trans on my 2011 Ford Explorer
without going to the local dealer

Take it to the dealership and have it serviced, you obviously have no idea what to do. That transmission is very expensive and if you mess something up or use the wrong fluid you could cost yourself hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Call the dealership and they will let you know what it will cost to service.
