Windshiels wipers stopped working

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My daughter's windshield wipers stopped working on her 2011 VW Jetta SEL
sedan, while driving in rain a day ago.  Is there a relay that can be replaced?  
I've watched the YouTube videos on replacing the motor and assembly, but
need to order parts first.  Fuse is fine.  I hear a buzzing sound outside of
windshield near wiper motor, but no action on wiper arms.  Ideas?

My 2019 Jetta windshield wiper stopped last week while driving surely could have wrecked. An engine error and triangle came on my dash don’t remember what it said. When I turned off car after getting on off ramp turned back on it worked
