If you are buying a used car from out of state, from a dealer, is there any way to
verify the validity of the title?

You can get a Car Fax. If you think the dealer is hinky I would not take the one the dealer gives you as they can be faked. Used car dealers are snakes!

When buying long distance always have the vehicle inspected by a professional inspection company! I've used lemonsquad.com for this with excellent results! I believe a title check is included but check their website to be sure. Hope that helps! Jim
