2011 Nissan Sentra SL 2.0

Asked by Glenda Nov 04, 2019 at 01:23 PM about the 2011 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car had issues of not starting and then the gearshift
stuck in park. He got the gearshift out of park and the car
stays in limp mode. It only goes up to 20 mph. The Items
we've replaced are the starter,  crankshaft position sensor,
purge control solenoid, a new battery fuse, spark plugs
and coils, and a transmission fuse. Now we just had to
replace the motor and transmission per mechanic.  The
car has another motor and it starts right up. The car has
another transmission BUT IS STILL IN LIMP MODE and
isn't reading the transmission control module.  Please
Help !

1 Answer

I forgot to add that the transmission sensors were replaced before the new transmission.
