2011 Jeep Patriot 4wd! Light

I recently replaced tires on my Patriot and after driving a few miles my 4wd!
light comes on. After I start my car and start driving it feels like my 4wd is
trying to turn on. I have already checked to make sure my activation lever
isnt jammed in the up position to turn on my 4wd. Is there a chance
something got bumped when the tires were rotated and changed? Or is this
a much larger problem?
