The display showing miles, dte, temperature, speed etc doesn't light up anymore. Is this a fuse or computer problem?

Asked by Marie May 09, 2013 at 01:08 PM about the 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan Mainstreet FWD

Question type: General

This display that shows the milage, outside temp, trip distance, DTE, etc is now blank.  Just a grey screen.  Anyone know what the problem is?

does the display show true or bogus information? Does it ever come back on? there's a control module that may be at fault here- cannot read it until posted...we'll both look it over-

In my case it was a crack in the Dash Board Circuit board, it shut off the dash display AND the tail lights. Everyone kept telling me to "just change the Tail light fuse" but that was incorrect. Common problem on Dodge/Chrysler vans.
