AC problems

Asked by Suzanne Jul 17, 2017 at 10:25 PM about the 2012 Honda Civic Coupe EX-L

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I start my car it seems like the AC is cooling down. But the minute I
get the RPM's up there it gets hotter and hotter. The coolant is full, and the
air filter has been replaced. Also, when you click on the Out side air, it keeps
switching to AC inside air. Every time I try to ride with the out side air, it
keeps switching over. I am at the end of my ropes. Would anyone know what
is wrong with my car's AC?

I forgot to mention that my car is a hybrid...It did this last summer. I thought it was low... so my nephew put coolant in it, but it acted up shortly after that, didn't help... so I took it too a friend, and he found out that it was dangerously full, so he released it until it was where it was suppose to be. The ac worked fine for the rest of the summer and part of this summer. Like I said, my son checked it and it is still where it is suppose to be. So, it is not leaking.
