Stock 02 mustang gt great car had it for a
long time .. but now if it sets for 12 or more
hours when it's time to go for a ride she has
a high idle 1500 RPM drive it to my stop
sine everyday and come to a complete stop
she shuts off .. fire her back up and she's
perfect EVERYTIME then she's fine for how
ever many miles you wanna go .. except
when I won't to gass her and lission to the
great sound she makes she will pick back
up on idle like I'm in cruise control or
something come to a complete stop she
shuts off fire her back up and she's fine
again need help please I even replace the
idle control valve and nothing happened

Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. write them down.

Yea took it to the auto shop it said it was the part I just replaced cleaned my throttle body as well it's not really a big deal I don't drive it much just a yard ornament but I getting to the point whear I won't it to be my everyday car just can't find the problem .. my girlfriend loves it but she thinks it's dangerous and won't ride anymore any tips you have I'll try I'm not paying someone to charge me out the ass for something simple cause it's not big problem is it ? Befor I changed the part out I was getin 2500 3000 Rpms !
